This week at Cocktail Cove on Tuesday nights we are changing up things a bit to help out Officer Sam Worsham. See the release below. (Rest of email below the release)
Please join us on Bike Night so that we can do our part to help him out...

Sandy Springs police said Officer Sam Worsham, 39, was injured when his motorcycle collided with a Toyota Prius Thursday afternoon.

Sam was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. He suffered compound fractures in his right arm and right leg. He fractured his pelvis and broke his shoulder. Officers said Sam was alert and conscious and is expected to be OK. He is listed in serious but stable condition.

Lt. Steve Rose with the Sandy Springs Police Department said a preliminary investigation showed that Sam was on his way to a call for emergency assistance from another officer. Worsham was traveling north on Roswell Road and had his lights and sirens on when he was hit, according to authorities.

Tuesday the 19th and the 26th of August at 7pm there is a benefit for Officer Worsham at Cocktail Cove, 5840 Roswell Road, Atlanta, (the old American Pie) in conjunction with Full Throttle Bike Night. Proceeds will go to help Sam and his family during his time of recuperation. Please invite all your friends and let's do what we can to help out this fellow rider.
