KARAOKE KOUNTRY

Instead of featuring a band this month, as I usually do, I've decided to bring you something a little different.   This month I am featuring a group of individually talented and impressive singers who are not in a band, either because they don't want to be or they've already “been there, done that”.  I'm talking about the over the top, super entertaining, and incredibly talented singers of James McLendon's Karaoke Kountry Show held every Friday and Saturday night at Stubby's Pub in Warm Springs!
            Talented singers such as; Randy & Rita, CC Jones, Stan, Britney, Jimmy Campbell, Dr. Tillman, (local Dentist by day, ROCKSTAR by night), and Big John, whose love of the big bands is obvious and warmly accepted...

            Impressive “been there and done that” singers such as; guitarist George Robinson, who has sang and toured with more legendary country, rock ,and jazz bands then you can imagine.  Singer and guitarist, Keith Bishop, who has an extensive background in country and bluegrass that goes on and on.... 
            Waitress Tara, who sings beautifully, plays guitar and piano, and comes from a musical family of gospel singers.  And last but not least, there's musician turned restaurant bar owner, Bill Stubbs (aka “Stubby”), who sings and plays guitar, bass, drums, and mandolin, has his own recording studio, and has been in numerous bands all over the state, including my own!
            Yes my friends, I'm here to say, karaoke night at Stubby's Pub is like no other I've ever experienced!  Not a bad singer in the house and sometimes I swear you'll wonder if they are lip syncing! But hey, don't just take my word for it.  Next time you and your friends ride up to Warm Springs, stop in, have a beer and judge for yourself!  With the state-of-the-art sound system, unlimited MP3 G-based song list, and talent sure to blow you away, there's no doubt you will have the time of your life!
