ROADKILL

The Fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar
Seattle’s Water Front

Located right on the pier in the heart of Seattle rests plenty of dining options, little eclectic shops, and not far away, plenty of scenic riding.  You can start your day riding through some of the best coastal views, circling the Northwest Mountains then arriving at the waterfront of Seattle for an excellent lunch or early dinner.  Being from a city that is land locked your only source of great fish arrives by plane or truck. This way of dining changes the entire experience!! Executive Chef Jeff Richards has created an array of all local seafood selections, offering only what is in season and changes his menu daily. How about Dungeness Crab, Halibut or Columbia River King Salmon caught only hours before?  As you sit on the pier enjoying a mouth watering meal, watching the boats cruise in and out of port, you think, that’s our food!!!
But, it doesn’t stop there.  You all are familiar with the coffee shop idea?  Well, you would be amazed to see where and what little shop it all started in, just down the block from Pike’s Market.  Have you guessed? Yes, Starbucks!!  It started here and you would not be impressed or overwhelmed, just surprised, this is what started the craze!  This little coffee shop is nestled right next to one of the best open-air food markets in our country.  You not only get the chance to have a great experience eating, but as you prepare your saddle bags for the ride home, they are more then happy to assist in packing everything on ice to take home for another feast.  Be prepared for the riding as it may catch you off guard.  As you come around a mountainside it can change in a moment, may drop 10 degrees; it may begin to rain or even snow.  It is amazing.  But no matter what, this part of America is a true impression of how both city life and nature can find a balance, creating something that is memorable that you should go and experience.  Happy New Year!!!
