FUTURE LADY

My name is Brooke Thompson and I am 14 years old. I am an avid motorcycle rider. The kids at my high school think that I am so cool when my Dad and I pull up to the car line on his Harley. Recently I had the honor of riding on the Red Rider Team at the ADA ride. Living with diabetes is a challenge; however, it is so cool to know that there are people who support me and other diabetics in finding a cure for this disease. It’s true my day consists of pricking my finger several times a day, giving myself shots, and counting carbohydrates with everything I eat, but I’m still a “normal” teenager who enjoys swimming, fixing people’s hair, being an Honor student, reading lots of books, riding my 4-wheeler, and especially riding my Dad’s Harley.

Hi! I’m 9-year old Kylie Thompson from Cumming, Georgia. My name was originally going to be Harley, since my Dad and Mom love riding their motorcycle. My hobbies include swimming, participating in cheerleading competitions, running, gymnastics, riding in the woods on my 4-wheeler, and riding horses with my sister. Whenever Mom or Brooke isn’t on the back of Dad’s Harley, I fight for the seat. It’s really cool riding in the wind. Some day I hope to have my own Road King.
