WORLD OF WHEELS WOWS CROWD

The O’Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels moved back to the Georgia World Congress Center for the 2008 version. The extra space came in handy for the incredible cars and trucks, the ever-growing motorcycle division, all the scheduled entertainment and the huge crowd.
As always, the World of Wheels show attracts some of the finest cars and trucks in the country. No matter what your vision of a dream car is, you can get up close and personal to it at this show. Whether it is from muscle cars to Maserati’s, from the Transformers’ Bumblebee Camaro to the Hot Wheels “Vampyre”, or from Ol Skool Rodz to Godfather’s Customs; all makes and models were available for your eye candy pleasure.
The same can be said for the motorcycle section. Harley-Davidson of Clayton County had many new stock models for people to check out, while Hank Young and Brian Fuller had some of their radical customs for people to drool over. There were over 40 motorcycles entered into the competition and there were some great entries. The new date allowed Southland’s Full Throttle to participate and gave us a chance to show off the FT Bobber.
The entertainment and celebrity guest appearances made it a show for the entire family. Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick, and Dora the Explorer had the little tikes grinning, while Hannah Montana’s Jason Earles had the tweens squealing. John Schneider from Dukes of Hazard, NASCAR’s Ted Musgrave, Will Castro from Unique Whips and Hard Shine’s Jimmy Shine gave the show some manly star credibility that also gave the ladies some handsome hunks to gawk. Of course, the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and LA Ink’s Pixie gave the guys more than cars to dream about.
Great job Bruce, Chas, and the entire World of Wheels staff. We appreciate the direction the show has taken for motorcycles and look forward to seeing the show continuing to expand its motorcycle presence.

Randy
